Every tuesday evening , the members eagerly practice sea chanties with the conductors and voice trainer for more than two hours in the training center which stands by the Hansen Nippon-maru permanently moored at the park area.

The members also go outside of the city and stay over night in the same dormitory to practice songs every year.

 1st recital was helld in February, 1995
 2nd recital was held in February, 1996
 3rd recital was held in March, 1997
 4th recital was held in January, 1998
 5th recital was held in April , 1999
 6th recital was held in January, 2001
 7th recital was held in May, 2002
 8th recital was held on May 3, 2003.
 9th recital was held on May 5, 2004.

Further, our concerts are given on Maritime day and Christmas day every year, and sometimes on board of the big cabin cruiser " Asuka ". We regularly perform our favorite songs together with Mr. & Mrs. Ohmachi and also with The Harvard Krokodiloes, a cappella men's chorus.

Profile of Key Persons:
Mr. Omachi Masato sings as an active tenor of Japanese well-known folk song quartet
"Bonny Jacks" and often appears on TV show.
In june.1994, He opened a chorus workshop which was the predecessor of Sailingship Nippon-maru Male Choir, under the sponsorship of Yokohama Arts Foundation and is the chorus master now.

Mrs. Omachi Masumi marked her debut as a soloist of oratorio (musical composition for solo voices with Biblical theme)after her graduate of Tokyo National Univ. of Fine Arts and Music, and has opened many recitals of opera arias and classical songs . She has appeared on TV, too.
